Essential Oils for Weight Loss and Appetite Suppression

Essential Oils for Weight Loss and Appetite SuppressionEssential oils are well-known as weight loss enhancers. You probably know about the “skinny bath,” or how cellulite can be reduced with the application of oils. But did you know that weight loss and appetite can be emotionally connected?

Eating can be a very emotional experience, and sometimes it is easy to eat for emotional reasons. Anxiety and depression can be “comforted” by food, and if food is used as comfort, over and over again, then naturally, this can become habitual and a cause of weight gain.

How Essential Oils Help

The role of essential oils in the support of appetite control is to soothe, comfort and clear the mind, and allow for an inner calm to take place, in order to choose abstinence instead of indulgence.

You can suppress cravings, ease and eliminate stress and anxiety (both really mess with appetite!), as well as balance and increase metabolism, minimize fluid retention, lower cholesterol, help with digestion, and release toxins.

We’ve blended together some of these oils to create a powerful, fat-blasting combination designed to not only help with physical weight loss, but the emotional baggage that provokes it.

Weight Loss Essential Oil Blend Roll On contains:

Lemon: Clears the mind, boosts metabolism, detoxifies, and dissolves fat

Pink Grapefruit: Energizes and detoxifies, dissolves fat

Peppermint: Vitalizes and energizes, reduces appetite, and curbs cravings

This is available in a convenient roll on form that can be applied directly to the body.

Emotional Freedom Technique- Tapping can also be used to help with cravings. By tapping acupressure points on your body with clearing statements, as well as the appetite suppressing scents of oils, you can really combat troublesome weight in a powerful way.

Essential Oils and Massage Oils

When massage oils are created from natural plant and essential oils, they’re less greasy and more enjoyable to apply. Our massage oils contain sunflower seed oil, sweet almond oil, and apricot kernel oil, and are absorbed into the skin more quickly than most store-bought oils, but do not need continued application. essential oils and massage oils

Sunflower Oil

The linoleic acid content of your skin can deteriorate over time and decline steadily with age when it is stripped by harsh soaps and cleansers.Sunflower oil is light and non-greasy. It’s composed of the rich, fatty acid, linoleic acid, as well as palmitic and stearic acids, which are the makings of healthy skin.

If you’re allergic to sunflowers or plants in the same family, avoid this oil.

Sweet Almond Oil

Sweet almond oil is pale yellow in color and slightly oily—just enough to permit the hands to smooth over the skin – but is absorbed quickly. Reapplication is typically not necessary, which is an indicator of a useful massage oil.

If you’re allergic to nuts, avoid this oil.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Similar in color and texture to almond oil and rich in vitamin E, apricot kernel oil has a longer shelf-life than other oils. It is similar to almond oil, in that it absorbs well and doesn’t feel greasy after a massage.

Essential Oils and Massage Oils

Our French Vanilla Kiss Massage Oil is both edible and lickable, and smells and tastes scrumptious! It’s composed of flavored vanilla infusion oil, as well as sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, and apricot kernel oil.

Forest Scent Holiday Potpourri with Essential Oils

Forest Scent Holiday Potpourri with Essential Oils

Forest Scent Holiday Potpourri with Essential Oils is a wonderful way to not only give a room a pleasant aroma, but to also add beautiful holiday décor!

The History of Potpourri

In the 12th century, spices and herbs were placed in large cooking cauldrons after meals were prepared each day.

Then, these spices and herbs were placed in containers, and spirits were added. The contents were left to rot. This process created a pungent scent, and the container contents were then emptied on top of flowers that were placed in pretty bowls and other types of open containers. These were then placed in various rooms throughout the castle to add a lovely scent and pretty décor!

Today, essential oils are paramount in creating the aromatic scents of potpourri. Additionally, making your own potpourri can be creative and satisfying!
